It has a black dial with luminescent steel dot and baton hour markers, with luminous steel skeleton hands, and a center sweep seconds hand. The triangle at 12 o’clock is used for aligning the bezel, and it has outer minute/second indexes. The sapphire crystal has a Cyclops magnifying bubble over the date window at 3 o’clock. It has a screw-down, Triplock winding crown protected by a crown guard, and it’s water resistant to 300 meters/1,000 feet. It’s an officially certified Superlative Chronometer (COSC). The 12.8mm case, dial, and movement are all signed.
This automatic calibre 3135 movement is rhodium-plated with oeil-de-perdrix embellishment. It’s constructed with 31 jewels and a straight-line lever escapement. It has a monometallic balance that adjusts for cold, heat, and 5 positions. It also has a shock absorber mechanism, a self-compensating free-sprung Breguet balance spring, Microstella regulating screws, and a hacking mechanism.
This watch was introduced for the 50th anniversary of the Rolex Submariner.
