Panerai PAM 308 Luminor Regatta Chronograph, PAM308, PAM00308, limited edition of 500 pieces, stainless steel case on a rubber strap with a steel tang buckle, manual OP XXVI Panerai movement chronograph, black waffle dial wiith luminous arabic and round lume dots, sapphire crystal, solid back, water resistant, size 47mm, thickness 17mm, K Series (2008). Like New with Original Box and Papers. Paper dated 2008.

This is an AISI 316L stainless steel Panerai Luminor Regatta Chronograph PAM00308. It has an, stainless steel case on an OEM Panerai black rubber dive strap with a Panerai Pre-Vendom style buckle, and a scratch resistant sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating. There is a solid screw-down satin-finished case back engraved with “OFFICINE PANERAI – STAINLESS STEEL – 100M –CHRONOGRAPH,” serial numbers, and the edition of 500. In the center is “PANERAI – CLASSIC YACHTS CHALLENGE – 2008.” It has the patented Panerai full-protector winding crown with an opening lever that allows the watch to be wound underwater. There are round chronograph pushbuttons, and the 47mm by 47mm diameter cushion shaped solid three-body case, downturned lugs, and angled flat bezel with a tachymeter graduation to UPH are satin finished. There is a black hobnail texture dial with luminous Arabic numerals at 6 and 12 o’clock, round luminous hour indices, luminous baton hands, and a distinctive blue center sweep chronograph hand. There is a subsidiary running seconds dial at the 9 o’clock position, and a 30-minute totalizer dial is at 3 o’clock. It has a Certified Official Superlative Chronometer (COSC) rating. It’s water resistant to 100 meters/330 feet, and it has a 46-hour power reserve at full wind. The 17mm thick case, dial, and movement are all signed.

The mechanical manual winding Panerai OP XXVI caliber movement it constructed with 24 jewels, an Incabloc anti-shock device, and a monometallic Glucydur balance. It has a straight-line lever escapement, a self-compensating flat balance spring, and the mechanism oscillates at a frequency of 28,800 vph (4Hz).

This Panerai Luminor Regatta Chronograph PAM00308 was introduced in 2008 in a limited edition of 500 examples. Included is an extra black rubber strap.
